The prison administration and staff support and allow the T.R.U.S.T. to hold events and workshops, which require the time and energy of Correctional Staff.
External The National Trust
Builds resources in local communities and creates connections to assist the men with housing and employment needs upon parole. The T.R.U.S.T. is the San Quentin chapter of The National Trust.
The University of San Francisco (USF) San Quentin TRUST Alliance
Provides a steady stream of volunteers who gather research and class materials, co-facilitate workshops, work on the curriculum, conduct fundraisers, provide tactical and organizational assistance, and help with the daily functions of the T.R.U.S.T.
Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD)
Co-organizes the T.R.U.S.T.’s annual health fair and provides health-related workshops and assistance year-round, including guest speakers.
The Richmond Improvement Association (RIA)
Partners with the T.R.U.S.T. in working to stop the violence in the city of Richmond, California through the Richmond Project. RIA also assists incarcerated men from the city with housing and employment to make a smooth transition back into the community.
United Players (UP)
Provides musical support and speakers for our cultural celebrations, and promotes community activism among prisoners.
Hitland Ministries
Provides musical support and speakers for our cultural celebrations, hosts hot dog give-a-ways, and helps employ ex-offenders.
Yeshua’s Second Chance Foundation
Volunteers and provides speakers at events/workshops, assists with the employment, housing and transportation needs of ex-felons.
Urban Strategies
Supplies the T.R.U.S.T. with cultural and organizational information about bridge-building between communities and organizations.
KMEL Radio
Assists with the promotion of the T.R.U.S.T. during fundraising and cultural events.
A variety of other organizations also provide support to the T.R.U.S.T., such as: T.K. Youth Foundation; Teens Incentive Project; Richmond Police Department; Richmond NAACP; Apple of Discord Productions and Yoga Sangha, among others.
