To learn more about rehabilitation and social change.
What does being a T.R.U.S.T. Fellow mean to you?
It means having an opportunity to contribute to a positive social movement toward reform and restorative justice.
What are some of your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy reading "Psychology Today" and I am learning to speak Russian.
What programs are you involved in other than T.R.U.S.T.?
I.P.P.'s The Work, Project REACH, Restorative Justice Roundtable, Shakespeare, Patten College
What kind of work do you do with the inside and/or outside communities?
I am an ESL/GED tutor with Project REACH and work with outside actors from the Marin Shakespeare Company.
How do you live up to the T.R.U.S.T. value system? How do you promote the ideals of the T.R.U.S.T. outside the workshops?
I live up to the value system and promote the ideals of the T.R.U.S.T. by maintaining a high level of integrity.
What do you want to do after you parole?
Assist my parents financially, obtain a Master's Degree in business, obtain plastic surgery
What are your long-term goals?
To become financially secure, move to South America, create an endowment fund and international organization to promote gender equality in Latin American countries, and then retire in India.
What is your personal message to the outside world?
1. Know the difference between wants and needs, luxuries and necessities
2. We belong to each other, so:
Cause no pain
Hurt no one
3. Life can leave anytime without warning, so embrace egalitarianism and remember that kindness is the honey of life.
