The Trust Documentary
The Trust film explores the broad range of issues related to incarceration and re-entry into society through the lives of inmates involved in the San Quentin T.R.U.S.T.
The film’s goal is to create a national dialogue on the issues of incarceration through a character-driven story, which will represent the consequences of incarceration while inspiring and engaging a wide audience. This project began filming in Summer 2007 and is expected to be completed in 2010.
Emmy-Winning Video on San Quentin’s R.E.A.L. Choices Program
This short video made by James Irwin, a San Francisco Chronicle journalist, recently won an Emmy. It focuses on the R.E.A.L. Choices program where San Quentin inmates counsel and mentor teenagers. Many of the inmates shown in the video area also T.R.U.S.T. Fellows.
A Day Behind Bars
This video is put together by United Players, one of the T.R.U.S.T. Affiliates. It was filmed during a T.R.U.S.T. Cultural Celebration Event in February of 2005.
